Jesus and the Sunset

Taken on a detour through a Roman Catholic cemetary. The security guard showed up later and kicked me out - wish I got pics of his ugly mug!

waterfall

Long exposure of the waterfall in Hillton Falls, a nice conservation area around Milton. It was hot and muggy and the mosquitos were unforgiving... but it was worth the journey.

Carlu

Lights at the Carlu, a posh dining/dancing/whatever hall for the rich &/or famous. Doors Open event is probably the only time regular folk like get to see such a stunning place!

centro-matic live at the horseshoe

After waiting for 5 years Centro-matic finally made it Toronto. Their set consisted of a bit old and new material off their new record 'Fort Recovery'. Hearing their stuff live was so refreshing to my ears! That, plus being deprived of live music in general definitely added to the bliss.

condo building & cn tower

Another shot of a condo building. Oops, guess I went overboard on the polarizer.

waterfront condos

Toronto's front/spadina area is littered with these Jetsonian buildings. Much to my dismay condo development on waterfront is out of control - what happened to the idea of public space?

Tuesday, March 21, 2006

I happened upon this walking along the waterfront yesterday, it was a beautiful Monday afternoon.
